FRIDAY JUNE 30, 18.00 AT OMA TUPA HALL

Wartime songs and stories performed by a skilful accordion ensemble dressed in the spirit of the times, led by Elina Ukkonen. The singer and reader is Tuija Saura from Perinello, and the winner of the Golden Harmonica, Elias Ukkonen, also joins the group.

The group that received the 2022 folk music album of the year award brings a touch of the magic of world and folk music to the festival. Beautiful,  poetic playing takes the listeners on a meditative journey into the dark waters of the soul. World music collides with jazz and classical for this duo, with the accordion centre stage.
