The festival events are the highlight of the summer for the whole family and include the Gold and Silver Accordion competitions and folk music contest.

Wartime songs and stories performed by a skilful accordion ensemble dressed in the spirit of the times, led by Elina Ukkonen. The singer and reader is Tuija Saura from Perinello, and the winner of the Golden Harmonica, Elias Ukkonen, also joins the group.
